Nha Trang areas: where to live

Center, North Nha Trang, Hon Chong, South and West Nha Trang, An Vien, Bai Dai: what each area is like and what rent costs.

• The center (around Tran Phu promenade) is walkable, close to the beach, and the most touristy and noisy.
• North Nha Trang and Hon Chong are popular with long-term Russian-speaking residents; Hon Chong has new sea-view towers.
• South and West Nha Trang are quieter and cheaper, but you will need a bike.
• An Vien is a gated hillside neighbourhood with villas; Bai Dai is a long beach near Cam Ranh airport, 30–40 minutes from the city.
