How to avoid job scams

• Never pay for a job, training, uniform or “paperwork” — honest employers don’t charge candidates.
• Don’t hand your passport to an employer or send photos of it before you meet and sign a contract.
• Beware of “earn N a day” with no experience, crypto jobs, “couriers with deposits” and requests to open cards in your name — this is recruitment into crime.
• Foreigners need a work permit to work in Vietnam.
